The Mag

Regionally located a stone's throw from the Main Line of Philadelphia, Off Main Review Literary Magazine is the brainchild graduate capstone project of its founding editor, Sharon Smith.

We accept poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, and artwork. Our vibe is the unmasked and filter-free somatic, human experience. Everything but the straight and narrow zings with us. This may be real, imagined, or speculative in any fashion. We publish introspective poetry, stories with a twist, diverse memoir excerpts, and artwork that pull us in. Please swerve us directly off the main drag and drop us into our longed-for, unexpected side trip. Although we yearn for an escape, we prefer not to get lost, so keep it somewhat coherent please!

Masthead

Off Main Review Literary Magazine was created by Sharon Smith.
Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Writing, and she is slated to receive her Master of Arts in Publishing from Rosemont College in 2026.

Aside from her obsession with literary magazines, Sharon is an E-RYT yoga instructor at The Yoga Garden in Narberth and is also a bookseller at indie bookstore Main Point Books in Wayne where she can further satiate her lit geek tendencies.

She is a wife, mom to three children rapidly flying the nest, and loves baking sourdough bread continuously, hiking, reading (duh), binging Netflix, and hanging with her hubby and two Norfolk Terriers.
